Year 12 Psychology at Dudley Zoo
On Thursday 16th May the Year 12 psychology students visited Dudley Zoo. We had an insightful talk on the use of conditioning in animals, and got to see Pavlov and Skinner's research brought to life using snow leopards and lynx! We got a little wet whilst trying to locate the chimps, but eventually we found them and conducted our observations on their social behaviours vs orangutans.
Back in the classroom, we will be conducting statistics on our data and writing a report. The little red train which saved us a big hill walk was also a highlight!
