Congratulations to Year 11 students from Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls on their fantastic GCSE results.
100% of students achieved at least 5 grades A*-C or 9-4 including English and Maths. Overall 80% of the grades were 7-9 or A*/A and an impressive 50% were grades A* or 8/9.
Seven students achieved A*s or 8/9 s in all 11 of their subjects: Nusaybah Akhmid, Camille De Waele, Katie Gilks, Raisa Jaffer, Nithil Kennedy, Matilda Pratt and Sophia Teague. A further 11 students achieved 10 A*/9/8 grades: Eve Ashton, Megan Benton, Jasmine Blakeway, Amani Butt, Lucy Groutage, Esha Gupta, Amber Hayer, Emma Leyva, Ellen Partridge, Amrit Rakkar and Tamsyn Ward.
We are delighted that all our students’ hard work has been reflected in these fantastic results. This year group has risen to the challenge of the new GCSEs and we wish them all the very best for their next steps. We look forward to our Sixth Formers starting in September as we welcome a combination of returning and new students to Sutton Girls.
