On Thursday 17th of November, we opened our doors to prospective students and their families who are looking to apply for a place in our Sixth Form in September 2023.

The evening began in the Hub, where families gathered and were greeted by Deputy Headteacher Mrs James, Head of Year 12 Miss Bailey. Displays and information points around the room gave insights into the Extended Project Qualification, the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, Year 12 enrichment options and advice about UCAS Early Entry Application with Miss Hobson.

Talks in the main hall were conducted by Headteacher, Dr Minards, Head of Sixth Form, Mr Charles and Senior Student Ambassador Savannah, who gave a wonderfully passionate speech about her initial impressions of Sixth Form life.

From there, individual subject introductions took place around the school from Head of Departments, teachers and current Year 12 students to help interested parties understand more about each subject has to offer, from trips to an overview of the curriculum.
